A festive Christmas market at Hellbrunn Palace, with the building’s facade lit in vibrant pink and its windows styled as a giant Advent calendar. A beautifully decorated Christmas tree stands in the center. Market stalls lined with lights and evergreen branches flank both sides of the path. Numerous visitors stroll through the wintery scene, surrounded by warm lights and cheerful holiday atmosphere.

Arrival & parking

Our advent market is located directly at Hellbrunn Palace, only a few miles from Salzburg’s city centre. The easiest way to reach us by car is via the A1 motorway, exit Salzburg Süd.

We recommend travelling by public transport on weekends and public holidays.

From Salzburg's main train station, bus number 25 (stop 'Schloss Hellbrunn') will take you directly to us. On weekends between 12 and 6 pm, the frequency is increased to every 10 minutes.

Parking

Car and bus parking is available directly at the palace.

More parking spaces at Zoo Salzburg - an illuminated path leads you over the palace park to the Adventzauber, taking only a few minutes.

The following rates apply for cars at Hellbrunn Palace:
3.00 € for the first two hours
1.00 € for each additional hour
10.00 € maximum daily fee

The following rates apply to BUSES at Hellbrunn Palace:
15.00 € per hour
75.00 € maximum daily fee

    Krampus parade (c) Gassner Gastronomie: Several Krampus figures with large horns, carved masks, and long fur costumes walk through the Christmas market at Hellbrunn. Red lighting and smoke flares in the background create a dramatic and mystical atmosphere. Visitors watch the traditional spectacle along the market stalls and festively illuminated fir trees. The scene combines Alpine customs with an impressive Christmas ambiance.

    Hellbrunner Adventzauber (c) Gassner Gastronomie: A festively decorated sales stand at the Hellbrunn Advent Magic showcases handcrafted glass Christmas ornaments in many colorful shapes and designs. Among sparkling birds, figures, and Christmas baubles sits a friendly vendor wearing a blue headband and a warm winter jacket, smiling warmly at visitors. The delicate decorations hang from golden branches and glow in the cozy light of the stand. The market stall feels inviting, charming, and full of lovingly crafted Christmas details, creating a magical holiday atmosphere for guests of all ages.
